"Just relax for a short bit, kay?" She said to a young second year boy who had fallen off his broom during a flying lesson. The days of working as a nurse never left for a dull moment. Though, you did get the odd quiet break, which Evangalinna was about to experience.
She looked towards the actual Hogwarts Healer, wondering what else there was to do. With a shrug of the shoulders Eva moved over to sit in a chair close to the door of the Hospital Wing. She often perched herself there so that she could quickly assess those who came in for various reasons. Some people, normally students who had friends in there, came to visit, though you also had the odd professor or other member of the staff come in as well.
The day itself had been quite quiet, which seemed odd to Eva. She spent most of her time either just sitting as she was currently, or going to do a quick check on the few patients they had. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she looked around the room. Only two students currently occupied the room, amid the various healers at different stages of their training. She smiled to herself, thinking that one day she very well may be the head nurse at Hogwarts, that was her dream.

As his feet stabled themselves on the wet grass that was the immense Quidditch Pitch Jethro tried to stay focused so that he wouldn't slip. It was hard, he had to admit. He always hated walking off the pitch, he much preferred the comfort of riding his broom, even if he wasn't the best. He headed towards the change room where he carelessly shed his clothes and stepped into the already running water of the shower. "Ahh!" he exclaimed, jumping out of the water. Apparently someone had forgotten to turn on the cold water so Jethro had unknowingly thrown himself into almost scalding hot water.
Of course with Jet's luck this wasn't the end of it. He jumped out of the shower, in burning pain and of course a little startled. It was no surprise that he wasn't paying attention to his stability, and being in a shower he slipped. His solid body came crashing down, his head smacking down against the shower wall, his ankle twisting slightly. "Awh, fuck," slightly disorientated he put his hand to his head and admired the crimson red blood on his finger. As he pulled himself up he stumbled slightly again due to his rolled ankle and as he hobbled out of the shower he wrapped a towel around his naked, dripping wet body and hobbled off to the Hospital Wing. Once he stumbled inside the prestine white room that is the Hospital Wing he looked around frantically. "Uh," he called out, "Can I get a little help?"

"Uh, Can I get a little help?" Eva heard someone call out, taking her out of her fantasies. She quickly looked up to see a boy, standing in just a towel, and dripping with water. Rather startling to see no? Well, she held back the giggle that was trying to burst through her lips, and stood up. She strolled over to the boy, doing a quick examination as she walked.
He seemed to be walking, though rather unsteady, but still, that meant nothing too bad had happened to him. Minus the fact that maybe someone had taken his clothes in some mean prank. "May I ask exactly what happened?" She said, coming to a stop just a few feet away from him. She noted once again the unstability that he had, and waved her wand towards a vacant chair, bringing it closer so that he may sit down on it. "Please, sit. Tell me all that you recall." She also noted at that point the small crimson stain, which meant that he was also bleading somewhere, and looked around for the wound. While doing this she sat herself down on another chair that was close by.

It was just Jet's luck that he would have a young, attractive femal attending to him. Not that Jet minded, but let's be honest here, the boy was naked. He hadn't really thought about it much as he'd dragged himself towards the hospital wing. His head was throbbing so much that it made it easier to ignore the giggles and outbusts from students as he passed them in the hallways. Jethro collapsed into the chair the woman had summoned and he sighed. The weight was off his ankle. "I think I've sprained my ankle," he said, a slight pink tinge rising to his cheeks. He felt embarrassed to explain what had happened but he really didn't have much of a choice. "I slipped and fell in the shower." The explanation came out as an almost inaudible mumble, but Jet hoped the woman had heard him. He didn't want to say it any louder so in case any of the students in the beds closest to them heard him. "I also hit my head." Jethro raised a hand to wear he'd earlier felt blood and again the crimson colour stained his fingers.

Eva listened to what the boy was saying carefully. Sprained ankle. That was easy enough to deal with, so far this was going to be an easy swish of the wand and then he would be gone. She watched as some redness flared in his cheeks as to how he had sustained his injuries and couldn't help but flash him a small, supportive smile. It wasn't as if it were uncommon to fall in the shower. The next bit about hitting his head did not surprise Eva in the least. Go figure, you fall and hit your head, classic no?
She took a small breath, thinking about the best treatment and such. She was young yet, it didn't just pop up and be like 'here I am!' "Well, I must say that your ankle will be feeling better in no time. To fix that is almost like picking up a broom and flying." She said, trying to explain how quickly that could heal. Just to prove her point she picked up her wand, mumbled something with it pointed at his ankle, and watched his reaction. "Better?" She asked. Next was his head. She was almost positive that it was going to be a simple wound that could be fixed as quickly, but she would need to do a few simple checks to be sure.

Jethro knew that falling in the shower wasn't uncommon. This hadn't been the first time it had happened to him. It just happened to be the first time that he'd needed to seek help from the Hospital Wing as a result. It was embarrassing but unavoidable and so here he sat in front of the young nurse in training while she tried to decide what to do. He trusted that she would be able to fix him nicely in no time at all. It was part of the beauty of being a witch or a wizard. The medical advances of wizarding world were so far ahead of the muggle world that Jethro wondered why they didn't help out a little. "Uhm," when Evangalinna pointed her wand at Jethro's ankle and mumbled a simple spell he assumed it was one that would correct his slightly twisted ankle. He waited a few moments and nothing happened. Then all of a sudden his ankle started to grow. He couldn't feel it but he could see it she growing and getting larger. "Holy shit! What did you do?" Soon his entire leg had expanded like a balloon and Jethro was sitting there an astonished look on his face, looking between his leg and the nurse.

Eva sat and watched the boy's reaction. She was expecting a simple sigh of relief as the pain subsided, not the outburst which he gave her. Eva blinked a few times, trying to figure out what he was screaming about, then she noticed his ankle. Holy crap she had said the wrong spell! "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" She said quickly, mumbling a counter-spell. She gave the boy a small smile. "I'm still learning honestly. Aparently flying made me think of a balloon and well...ya...." She looked down at the ground as a small hint of red appeared on her cheeks. The beauty of still learning was that you can get away with things like that every once in awhile, as long as normally you did the right spell. This time she thought a little harder on the spell that was supposed to be performed before saying it, wand pointed once again at his ankle. "how bout now?" she asked once the ballooning had fully subsided. ((lol, very entertaining but cruel, yet funny, so much fun for me..))

Jethro couldn't help it. He was starting to doubt this woman's ability to be able to help him. He was sure she was perfectly capable at some things. But seriously. She had turned his leg into a balloon. Admittedly it was kind of funny, but Jethro assumed this would be one of those 'funny in retrospect' kind of stories because he sure as hell wasn't laughing right now. Jet hadn't mean to swear at her. It had been a sudden outburst at the surprise of seeing his leg inflate. He was slightly hesitant about letting her try and fix his leg one more time, but really, how much worse could she make it? Jethro tried to smile at her to let her know it was okay but it felt forced. The trainee nurse pointed her wand one more time at Jet's ankle and mumbled a few more words. Jethro crossed fingers just to be safe. At first there was no reaction but then slowly his leg began to deflate. A sigh of relief escaped his lips and a really smile danced upon his lips. Finally his leg was back to it's original shape and size. "Thank you." He went to stand up, see how his ankle would handle a little weight on it but he cried out in pain and quickly sat back down. "So it still feels sprained." He looked sheepishly up at the nurse, "One last try?"

Eva couldn't help but smile alittle bit at the admission that his ankle was still sprained. "Well, its not a balloon now at least right?" She asked with a short laugh. "One last try," She said with a nod. She concentrated really hard on the right spell this time, making sure that she was not going to make the boy's foot into a balloon once more, nor blow it off completely, just fix it. She shut her eyes for a moment, before opening them up and saying aother spell with her wand pointed at his ankle. She waited a few hopeful moments, and no balloon swelling. With a small smile she looked at the boy and said "How about now? No ballooing, any pain?"
((you are forbidden from having his foot explode now, lol, that would crush poor Eva's heart))

Jethro really couldn't blame the nurse from getting it wrong. She was only in training and she could at least do better than he could. Although, he couldn't help but glance around and see if any other nurses were on just in case she got it wrong again. He grinned with her so as to not make her feel so bad. "It's alright," he said, trying to make her feel a little better, "at least you can fix it." He tried to keep the hesitant feeling out of his tone of voice and sure enough the young woman tried once again. Jet took a deep breath and waited until the had completed the spell. Even then he waited a few extra seconds. It certainly felt better. He tried to stand up again. This time much more slowly and a look of relief crossed his face. Jethro smiled and sat back down again as he came to the conclusion that finally his ankle was healed. "See? I knew you'd get there in the end. At least you didn't completely break my ankle. Seriously. I had this one nurse back when I was in my first year who set my clothes on fire after I'd fallen out of a tree. She didn't last much longer than that I dare say, but hey. Everyone makes mistakes. I mean, look at me. I slipped and fell in the shower." He smiled at her to show her he really didn't mind. At least it was a story to tell. "Uhm, now what about my head?"
ooc: Haha, I wouldn't do that <3

Eva was glad that the boy understood that she was only in training. She was also glad that he hadn't called for another nurse after the ballooning incident, that may have been bad for her. Then again, it could have been worse if the boy had decided to try and fix it himself. Eva watched as he hesitated, as she had, before putting any pressure onto his foot. She tensed up a little bit when he did, hoping to not see him fall over with a crack of the bone. A small smile appeared once again as relief crossed the boy's face. "Third time's the charm right?" She said with a short laugh. Listening to what he had said next made her cringe. "I'm glad I didn't do that then. It would be rather hard to be a healer and not be allowed to heal anywhere."
Eva then considered his head. With all the ballooning that had happened she had almost forgotten about that small detail. Eva stood up then, and made to go to look at it. Before she did though, she caught herself. "Mind if I take a look to see how bad the damage is? If its really bad then I won't risk using and pass you onto one of the more experienced nurses."

Jethro had learned many, many years ago not to try and fix his own broken bones. In fact, any spell to do with body regrowth and anything that would normally require medical attention should get just that. After the incident in his first year where he had been set on fire he had had quite a good experience with in the hospital wing and its nurses. It had been his next fall after the incident with fire when Jet had tried to perform a spell on himself since he was a little too afraid of heading back to the hospital wing. Being young he messed the spell up and woke up again several days later in the Hospital Wing. These things happen. The nurse was saying something but Jethro wasn't really listening. His mind had begun to wander back all those years to those particular events. When he chimed back in he asked her about his head. At least now she was thinking more about what could go wrong. Jet felt a little bad, he hadn't meant to shatter her confidence and hoped this incident would hinder her too harshly. "I don't think it's too bad," he said, "I'm sure you'd be able to fix it no problem." He smiled at her but was secretly glad that she might ask another nurse to look in.

With what seemed to be his permission, you know, 'you'll be able to fix it no probem' Eva moved to check out what he had done to his head. considering his hair was not white, she assumed that he had either already washed his hair, or had just gotten it wet, but no shampoo was apparent at the time. Eva moved some of his hair aside so that she could see the wound, and smiled when it did appear to be fairly small. "In the muggle world they would probably only give you like...a stitch or two for this." She grinned at the thought. It should be pretty easy indeed. "Do you want to look in a mirror so you can watch me balloon your head?" Eva asked with a small laugh.

Jethro nodded, forgetting that Evangalinna was checking his head. "Yeah, I once had stitches. I was really little and staying with my grand mother, she's a muggle so she took me to a muggle hospital." Jet grinned at her as she made her little joke but inside he worried slightly about whether she could do what she was meant. He didn't want to further pick away at her confidence since that would only make the situation worse, it wouldn't be unreasonable to request another nurse. No. He wasn't going to do that. The woman needed to learn and so long as he didn't end up worse than he had originally started he didn't mind. "I'll be right," he said, "Just do your thing." He drew a slow, long breath and waited for her to fix her magic.

Eva nodded in appreciation of what he was saying. She knew what muggle stitches were like herself, stupid older brothers and broken glass. She shook her head a little at the thought. "Ya, I spent the first eleven years of my life in the muggle world, half blood." Simple explination really. She smiled "I hope that I can promise this will hurt less than muggle stitching, cause that hurts." She took a slow, but deep breath, calming herself once more. Closing her eyes for a few moments Eva focused on the spell that she needed. Something to heal the wound shut, no ballooning, no expanding, just gluing it shut. Once she had her focus on the one spell that should be best her eyes opened once more. She slowly lifted her wand, watching to see if the boy would cringe away or anything, and then mumbled the spell that was needed. She watched to see what would happen.
((only thing that sucks bout healing....they don't exactly say any spells in the books....kinda just get to go 'mumble mumble, your healed!' lol))
