She was lost, it was official, she had been here for 6 years and she still managed to get lost in the deep dark depths of the schools inner most corners….okay maybe she was being a tad bit melodramatic and needed to calm down, but it was kind of hard to stay calm when one had absolutely no idea where she was. Looking around Ansley tried to think about how she got herself into this particular predicament, and truth be told she really had no idea how this happened. She had arrived at the school pretty early, with her siblings, all six of them and they had split off fairly quickly, and she hadn’t seen them since. It had taken a solid two hours to unpack everything, and by everything she means her entire house. Her nanny had a little trouble seeing them off to school, and there for had packed them everything SHE thought they needed. She didn’t exactly agree with her but she loved her nanny, her being the only mother she had ever known so he would never go against her.
But that still didn’t explain how she had gotten lost. She was searching for something. What it was she had long forgotten. She walked around aimlessly, occasionally stopping to look at a picture or something of that nature and to state the truth didn’t know even know how she had wound up in this portion of the school. It was starting to frustrate her quite a bit, her lack of knowledge of her location. She looked down at her watch seeing how much time was lost. It was officials he had been lost for two hours now. She wondered if anyone had noticed her absence. ‘Probably not,' she thought since he didn’t associate herself with many outside her family, and they all had friends, and lives of their own. Ansley lived a sheltered life up until her first year here at Hogwarts never really having any friends outside of her siblings, and she was never dismayed by that, because she knew there would be a day where she would be able to make more friends, and apparently what a day that was.
She looked down at her outfit and smiled. She hated the conformity of the uniform, and decided that she should spruce it up a bit, and add her own flair. She had dug through her drawer searching for her favorite pair of socks. Her long, knee high, rainbow striped socks. She had gotten them a few years ago as a present and loved them on spot. She added a few of her favorite buttons to them as well, her “party on” button, her “free hugs“ one, (she loved that one the most), and a few others as well. Ansley added a studded belt to her ensemble, it was multicolored, and went with her outfit nicely, or so she thought. She put on her red and yellow chucks, and threw her hair in a messy bun. Humming the new 30 seconds to mars single, kings and queens, she closed her eyes and leaned her head back against the wall. It was a guilty pleasure of hers, muggle music. Her dad would blow a gasket if he ever found out, but for right now she was safe from his tyranny.

Laila Queen. Little, petite, Laila Queen. Her mind wasn’t an overly curious one so she wasn’t someone who sought out problems or drama. She didn’t need anything over exciting to satisfy her mind. Spreading her limbs out in the sun, closing her eyes and soaking up all the heat she could get was usually enough for her. Unfortunately, the sun hiding behind the clouds. It was still warm, but the outdoors wasn’t really what Laila was looking for today. Instead she had been exploring the castle. She’d done it so many times before during her past six years at Hogwarts. But Laila loved exploring. And Hogwarts was just full of surprises and so far six years of exploring just hadn’t yet been enough to find everything.
Earlier during the day Laila had made her way outside the castle. She was going to start her adventure from the very beginning. Laila stood just in the doorway of Hogwarts grand doors and took a few steps forward. Outstretching her left hand she pressed it against the wall to her left side and began walking. She walked through the dungeons first, but she’d been there before. Plus today she wasn’t in a dungeon exploring type mood. So keeping her hand pressed to the wall she wandered through dungeons, it didn’t take too long. Throughout the day she just kept on walking around the castle, her left hand on the wall. She skipped a couple of levels – Laila had seen them before. Laila walked for hours. Her hand was becoming numb but she didn’t mind. The castle provided plenty of opportunities to rest and she came across so many friends as she did so. It was a lovely day all round and even though Laila wasn’t outside in the sun it was good to run into friends and spend some time with them.
Laila wasn’t sure what time of day it was when she stumbled across her friend Ansley. She’d been wrapped up in her own bubble of thought when she noticed the girl. Grinning at having found another friend she took her hand off the wall and walked over to her. “Hey there Ans!” Her voice was happy, eager even. “What are you doing up here?” Laila looked around, not sure if she even knew where they were. She tried to recall where she had been walking but didn’t remember much. Her day of exploring had turned into more of a day of aimless wandering, which didn’t bother Laila in the slightest. After looking around for several moments Laila came to the conclusion that they were in one of the school’s many towers. But which one was not something Laila could know for certain.
