$.Percy nodded in agreement and smiled. He probably should read the papers everyday, but he always tried to avoid them as much as possible. Which was hardly ever possible. But reading up on what they said about would probably get him to laugh at the lies.
"Sometimes the papers are funny because of the wacky things they say someone is doing." He grinned at her, not paying much attention to her small smirk. At least she was smiling, if she wasn't then he would be concerned.
One thing he had to love was her expression to his invitation to the behind the scenes of a game. The keeper brightened and chuckled. He listened her her next words, hoping that his slip up for words would kill her reaction. Thankfully, they didn't. Her question confused him, he wasn't sure if she wanted answer from him or not but he gave one anyways. "Well, you would actually, maybe, be the first." Percy paused to think. "If you don't count the wives and husbands of some of the other players." The man shot her a smile and still hoped she felt special for the offer. She sure looked like she still did.
His eyes light up and a chuckle rose from him. It was funny to see her try to act all proper like in the old days. Then again, it was probably funny to see him act all gentleman like, which was something he rarely acted like. He stepped in behind her and scanned the room when she asked where to sit. Percy found a small table by a window and pointed to it from behind her. "How about over th-" He was cut off by high pitched screams and overly loud sighs. A group of fans, mostly women, had drawn his attention from their noise. The keeper's eyes widened and his grin turned into horror. "Damn. This is what I didn't want happening...."
Percy placed his hand on Eva's shoulder and gently turned her toward the table as he whispered closely in her ear, "Best go and sit at the table quickly." He released her shoulder and tilted toward the crowd of ladies coming their way. Thankfully, all they wanted was autographs a pictures. Things he was happy to give. But there was one woman, the last one, who decided to jump on him and tie her legs around him and kiss his head. That shocked and surprised him so he almost fell over on the table behind him, which had a group of students sitting at it. Attempting to push the lady off him, Percy looked back and mumbled an apology to the kids. Finally succeeding getting the lady off him. Percy made a fast pace walk to the table he spotted earlier.
He looked at Eva a little embarrassed, "Sorry about that" He tried to wipe the lipstick, that had been transferred to his face, off but he just made it kinda worst. The man grinned at his friend.

Eva nodded. Papers said the strangest things sometimes. She wasn't much of a paper reader herself, but sometimes headlines got the better of everyone. "Ya, like some nobody having run into a tree several times while being chased by a mob of flys..." She listened as she spoke, and was instantly confused about where that had come from. She laughed at herself. "Ok, where did that come from?"She shook her head, unable to lift the smile from her face, no matter how dumb she had just sounded.
She listened to his words carefully. She would probably be the first. She wondered then what the rest of his team would think about that. Would they think something more of it than it was? Or would they just ignore it and accept it? She didn't care either way, the thought of it just made her smile. "Ya, the husbands and wives don't exactly count...they are givens." She said with a large smile on her face. "Man, you kinda got me hyper about that now. That is so not fair." Eva wished there was a way to make Percy realise how unfair that was without sounding ungratful. She couldn't do anythign like that for him, maybe heal a broken bone or two, but that was about it. She was excited none the less, but still.
Eva turned her head to look at Percy as he chuckled. It was such a nice sound to hear. She watched as his eyes scanned the room for a table, looking over his body subconsiously, and was half startled by the sound of his voice. She followed with her eyes to see where Percy was pointing to, and then heard the screams of various girls as they recognized who he was. Eva cringed slightly, wondering how bad the impact of them was going to hurt. She looked at Percy once more, and over the sound of the screams said "It's not your fault..."
She felt Percy's hand on her shoulder, and felt the warmth of his hand run through her body. When he whispered in her ear that she should go and sit down quickly, all she could really do is nod. Eva turned her head slightly so that She could see Percy as she made her way to the table he had picked out. It didn't take long for the girls to reach him after she had moved safely out of the way. She felt a little bad, leaving Percy to deal with fangirls all on his own, but then Eva also realized that he was probably used to it. She watched in horror as a lady even flung herself at him, attacking him physically with her whole body. Eva's hand flipped to cover her mouth, shocked to see what people did.
Thankfully it was over soon enough. Percy had sucessfully disentangled himself from the crazy lady, and after all the autographs and pictures made his way back over to their table. She exhaled her breath slowly, relief flooding through her veins as he sat down safely. A smile grew once more on her face as she watched him helplessly try to rid himself of the lipstick. "It's fine." She paused with a laugh. "Here, let me help you with that." She picked up a napkin that was on the table and reached across the table to wipe the lipstick off his face. She couldn't help but smile as she did so. Once percy was once again lipstick free Eva placed her hand back in her lap. "Man, that was....awkward? Funny? Interesting. Horrible, but interesting. How do you deal with that all the time?"

$.Eva's words had him confused. Did the newspapers ever have a story on someone who ran into trees while getting chased by flies? Why would reporters make a story on the anyways? He raised an eyebrow at her. Percy laughed some when she admitted that she had no idea where that came from. He gave an innocent shrug. "Don't ask me, you're the one that said it." The keeper wiped away his confused look.
The man nodded to the husband and wives thing. But not to what she said next. "How is is not fair?" He didn't mind if he got anything back from her, friends were suppose to be, well, friendly. He grinned at her, her question held no offense to him.
When he had returned to the table Eva just had to help him get rid of the light scarlet lip prints on his face. He wasn't sure she was really going to do something like that, but he didn't mind it when she did. In fact, when she started to rub the napkin to his face, Percy found himself leaning into it and smirking. Only when she stopped did his face flush red some. The keeper looked out the window to hide in for a moment. When Eva spoke he cleared his head and faced her. His pale blue eyes gazing at her.
He chuckled and placed his elbows on the table and rested his head on his hands. "You don't deal with it." He glanced back at the ladies and laughed at the way they were gawking at him. But his attention didn't stay on them long. Percy waved a waiter over and as they waited he explained his answer. "Because it happens so much you put on a front to act like you tolerate it. They fans like them are annoying because they will ruin most of the time you have free." He nodded at nothing. "Like now, for instants."
The man came over to the table and Percy asked for two butterbeers. He flick his eyes to Eva and just looked at her, as if to ask if she wanted anything else. Not that he couldn't pay for it, he did have one big salary. The famous keeper looked back at the man next to him and was about to speak when he notice that he was watching Eva. That's not very nice. I'm a customer too. He rolled his eyes and just thought over and over again about it was rude to be eying someone's date. And he was kinda wondering how the waiter was more focused on her, not that she wasn't pretty, rather then wanting an autograph or something. Then again, the other man may not have been a fan. But still, Eva was here with him, what right did the waiter have to be trying to flirt wit her. Never-the-less Percy kept his mouth shut and just looked minorly frustrated.

Eva shook her head at Percy's response. Somehow she just couldn't not think of anything better than flies chasing some person. So very strange, but proof that she had definatly not been put into Ravenclaw. "Shush you. I don't read papers as much as I probably should. too busy trying to fix peoples broken bones and such." At that statement Eva realised that there was alot that Percy did not know about her. She knew a great deal about him, you know, being famous and all, but somehow it felt as if he sota did know her, and it was easy to forget taht he didn't.
Towards his next statement Eva frowned slightly. "Well, lets see. You can do an awesome thing for me by giving me those tickets, but I couldn't do anything like that for you. Seriously, the most that i could hope to do for you is make sure that you have no broken bones after a match." She smiled sheepishly. "Its just not fair." a small laugh escaped her lips at that. She sounded like a small child not getting her way. She was never that type of girl, so it made her smile all the more.
Percy's reaction to her help made Eva blush slightly too. She watched as his attention turned to whatever was happening out the window, thankful for that, and the fact that the bar was more dimly lit than usual that day. It definatly helped to cover up a slip like that. Her thoughts took her wandering to what would happen if the paparazzi had caught that on film. The smile on her face, and the smirk that was on his, would definatly be the cause of a money selling story. Thankfully, Eva had not seen anyone with cameras around, nor flashes of light as she was cleaning the strange woman's lip prints off his face. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she thought about what she was getting herself into, but it didn't matter.
Eva raised her hazel eyes to Percy's blue ones as he chuckled. She smiled, lost in those eyes for a few moments before he spoke. She was confused at what he first said about not dealing with it, but then he explained it some more. Once he was finished speaking Eva nodded in understanding. "It must be hard always having to put up an act and have a happy face." She paused for a moment, thinking about the lady who had pounced him once again. "What about the crazy lady? Should I remember to pack extra napkins for you whenever I see you?" She asked, hinting that she did want to see him again, outside of quidditch.
It wasn't long, only seconds really, after she had spoken than a man appeared at their table to take their orders. She listened to Percy order two butterbeers and grinned without thinking. That was something she could get used to, someone just knowing what to order her. She caught Percy's eyes as he looked at her, as if asking if she wanted anything else. That took no thought at all, all Eva really wanted was for the man to go away at that point. She then looked up at said man, and noticed how he was looking at her. That was not good. She hoped that Percy didn't think too much into that, you know, maybe an ex or something along those lines, but hopefully nothing more than that. She then said, to the waiter, giving him a look that said go away, "Just the butterbeers will suffice," and then she flipped her head back to face Percy. She waited a few moment until the waiter had departed to speak once more, noticing the frustrated look on percy's face. "That was rather creepy of him. Would have been more appropriate if he had at least been subtle, but still." She shook her head, trying to fein that she was not used to getting those types of looks all the time.

$.He chuckled at what she said. More like how she said it, but either way it was still funny. The statement was true with him too. Percy barely got to read the papers, he was on them more often. He had to raise an eyebrow at her quickly, but them returned them to normal and gave a small shrug to himself. Broken bones? So, she had to be a nurse or doctor of some sort. It was respect able.
Eva's next words struck him by surprise. After she was finished talking the keeper almost burst with reassurance. He shook his head and grinned. "Eva. That is the best thing that you could do for me, I would need to be safe after games, and before. Otherwise, I would have to sit out with an injury. Being a great keeper is dangerous." The man smiled gratefully at her and softened under her eyes. As a kind act and instinct, Percy reached and pushed some of her golden hair, that had slid over her cheek, back by her ear. Once he took his hand way he half expected himself to turn and face the window with red cheeks. But this time he faced her with a slight tint to his face.
His eyes had slipped into a daze after just watching her. Her comment brought him back and he blinked. He nodded slowly thinking it over. "It's not hard if you are use to it so much." The famous keeper offered a smile and a shrug. Once she mentioned that lady, Percy's head fell with laughter. The man stole a gaze over his shoulder then shuddered at a thought and faced Eva again. "You actually might want to do that....." He chuckled again then stopped suddenly. His eyes meet hers and he paused. "So you want to see me again? Great!" Percy couldn't hide it, his eyes beamed and his whole mood was lifted.
Grumbling, now his mood damped, Percy just watched the waiter leave. He hadn't heard Eva talk to him, the man was almost steaming at the ears. He shook himself out of it when she spoke to him, that didn't help much. He just spoke, not really to Eva but he let his anger out. He kept his voice low and calm through his teeth. "You think that he would have the common curtsy not to stare at another guy's date...." The keeper shifted his position and looked at the blond in front of him and with a acting smile started to speak again. "Truthfully, I would rather get mauled by the lady again then see that again."
He cleared his throat and sat straighter. "Don't get me wrong, I can handle myself but that was just disrespectful." Percy had gotten most of his frustration out and was feeling better but he just flicked his eyes to look at Eva. His out burst wasn't going to help their relationship, more like friendship at this moment, but it was still bad. He inhaled deeply and exhaled the same way. "Sorry."

Eva smiled sheepishly at Percy as he chuckled. She really should have tried to come up with something better than flies chasing some random person. That was so utterly random. Oh well, what was done was done. He was still there with her, so obviously it didn't matter to much that she had, what the muggles called, a dumb blonde moment. "So, when not playing Quidditch or being stalked by the paparazzi, what kinda things do you get yourself up to?" She asked curiously. She figured that that was the best way to really start their conversation going on a different subject rather than news.
Momentarily shocked by Percy's reaction, Eva then grinned. She couldn't imagine ever really needing to heal Percy himself, sure that there were healers there at the game who had been aroudn much longer than herself, but she couldn't help but smile about the fact that he apreciated what she had said. "I hope you wouldn't get too injured. I don't like seeing people that I like get injured." As she spoke she noticed Percy moving his hand to brush a peice of hair off her face. She blushed slightly and smiled up at him. She was quite grateful that no one with cameras seemed to be around.
Eva nodded, thinking that Percy must always have to fake how he feels. You know, he may feel completely sick, but he would still have to put up a happy face to the public eye, else get more publicity than he wanted. "Still though." She shrugged, then laughed at his response to what she had said before. She made a mental note to remember to carry wipes of some sort if she and Percy ever went out again, which she really hoped that they would. His next reaction was even better. Aparently he thought that this was a one time thing. "Well ya. After getting over the shock of some strange famous man talking to me, I kinda rather am enjoying this."
The anger that Percy appeared to have at the waiter startled Eva a little. You would think that he would be used to someone staring like that, but then Eva realized that he probably wasn't used to other men gawking at whatever girl he was out with. She listened as Percy ranted, figuring that it was best to not inturrupt his train of thought. A small smile appeared on her face though, laughing internally at what he said about getting mauled by the crazy lady again rather than see another man stare at her like that. She was used to it, didn't make her feel any more uncomfortable, but at least she was used to getting stared at like that. Maybe she should jsut come right out and tell him the truth...She shook her head, the time was not right just yet.
"Its fine," Eva said calmly. She knew how good it felt to just rant sometimes, and didn't mind Percy ranting to her. "I kinda wish that didn't happen, it was rather disrespectful." She smiled though, happy that it was over with. Eva, all through Percy's rant though, was just thinking that he had better get used to those looks. To Eva it was just everyday life, but to someone who was only used to having people stare at him like that, and not the girl who he was with, it must have been really strange. She made a mental note of this, deciding that next time they met it would probably be best to stick aroud where fewer people were.

$.He brought his laughter down and looked at her smile. Had to love that smile, it was perfect, well as close as one smile could get. But Percy was focus back on what she was saying now. She wanted to know what he did, huh? He leaned in over the table to make the gap between them smaller, allowing only inches of space. The keeper smirked. "Me? You really want to know do ya?" He was playing with her again. Joking and good fun were both in his nature. That and he wanted to see if she really wanted to know more about, Percy wanted to also see if she squirmed from him being so close.
He chuckle some at a thought. Her word were caring, well at least that what they seemed like to him. They had just meet and she was already starting to care for him. That had to be a record. But it was the same way for Percy about her. The famous man cared for her, and mostly had already grown protective. He grinned at her and spoke, "You must like me a lot if you already starting to care for my health, Eva." He winked at her then shifted his eyes to look for their drinks.
Percy rolled his eyes while smiling. "Okay, it still kind of hard, but only around people I like." He smiled as his eyes landed on hers. It was his way of hinting at something. He still wasn't sure, for one they had just met and two, he was famous. Who wouldn't like him? The thoughts were hard to deal with if that was the only reason she was here with him. Her next statement helped some. His smile grew. "I am enjoy this too. I',m also enjoying the fact that cameras aren't being shoved in your face or mine." No paparazzi yet, and he hoped it stayed that way.
He was about to speak but the waiter appeared and with two butterbeers in hand. Percy eyed the man as he placed the glasses on the table, he wasn't going to risk another stare session. So, he slipped some coins out of his pocket and tossed them over to the waiter. He wasn't about to argue with Eva about who was paying. Percy kept his now steely blue eyes on the other man and the briefest moment that the waiter paused, the keeper cleared his throat loudly. The waiter cast his eyes down, smiled faintly and walked away. This let a grin of pleasure slid on Percy's face. He had won round two.
Looking at Eva, he took a sip from the glass and finally replied, "Yes it was....but I think he got the idea from the low tip I gave him." He smirked and chuckled some then took another sip. He was silent for a second then looked from his butterbeer to her. He felt suddenly that he knew little about her. "Eva, why don't you tell me alittle about yourself?" He had spoken in a playful tone.

Eva widened her eyes a little as Percy closed the distance between them. Her brain instantly stoped on all train of thoughts at that point, shock and worry taking over. She was worried because she thought that maybe he was kiss her, which also shocked her because they had only met, and then worried her even more because she knew that if it happened it would all be due to genetics. That thought was the worst. Then he stopped a few inches away, and smirked! Aparently he was trying to gauge her reaction to this or something. She raised her eyebrow a little, did he think that maybe she was only with him because of him being famous? Nah, couldn't be, well, maybe. She pushed the thought out of her mind though, and then really listened to what he had said. Come on, as if she didn't want to know more about him! "Do I really? C'mon really? Would I have asked otherwise" Eva brought her hands up, put her elbows on the table, and put her chin in her hands. "Now, really, I'm curious."
A smile crossed her face. How did he keep managing to do that? Somewhere between being a sweet guy, and not exactly completely falling all over her, Eva must have fallen into his charm. She really didn't like seeing anyone hurt, but people that she knew especially she hated seeing hurt. The way that he made it sound though, and then winked, made it almost sound like more. She thought about that for a moment, wondering if things really did happen that quickly. Eva didn't know for sure, but she was definatly looking foreward to their next meeting, whenever that should happen to be. "I care for everyone's health Percy...." She said, trying to make it sound as if it was no big deal, and esentially failing at it. "But you have given me no reason to not care. So unless you give me reason to, I shall continue caring." Okay, that last wink had sort of clouded her brain. So not fair.
Aww, so he just made the same slip that she had! Eva found it very hard to not think too far into it. He had no idea she was a veela. She had to keep reminding herself of that. It was hard, but she just did not want to ruin anything before it happened because of her genetics. It couldn't be helped, she was who she was. "Well, I'm glad to know that the like goes both ways..." as she began to speak his eyes met hers again. Seriously, how did he manage to make all thoughts leave her brain? She shook her head a little, trying to clear her loss of thoughts from his eyes. With a smile Eva nodded, managing to pull her eyes away to look around the room. "Umm...I wouldn't count your blessings just yet..." She said, watching as someone with a camera entered the bar. "Camera at four o'clock." She said, using the traditional numbers on a clock to hint at the direction the person was. "Don't think its paparazzi, but there is a camera."
At that moment the waiter returned. Eva refused to look at him, she had no desire to find out if he was looking at her or not. Not to mention she was sure that percy would mention something to him this time if he was. Sure enough, a few moments after the butterbeers had been placed on the table Eva heard some chinking of coins, probably Percy trying to hurry along the process, and then him clearing his throat at the waiter. Eva smiled to herself, thankful that she had someone with her currently that would not tolerate those strange looks. Once Eva heard the waiters footsteps move away Eva looked up once more to Percy. "Thanks, no one has ever actually done that before..."
Eva followed suite and took a sip from her butterbeer. She relished the flavor in her mouth for a few moments before swallowing, then took another one. She had truly missed this part of the wizarding world. Things seemed to taste better, not that her grandmother's cooking was not amazing, it was just different. At Percy's next comment Eva flashed him a toothy smile "Maybe," She agreed with him, though she knew the real reason. His next comment didn't exactly take her by surprise, but it did in a way shock her. "What exactly do you want to know about me? That I'm half blood, was a Hufflepuff, or that I spent esentially the last three years before this past one with my grandparents?" she hoped there wasn't too much that Percy wanted to know about her, maybe just her hobbies or whatever. Then again, she had been curious about him too, so Percy was allowed to have some curiosity was he not?
((next meeting should totally be at Hogwarts...lol))

$.Noting her smallest reaction to the distance between them, Percy grinned and leaned all the way back in his chair. Good so she wanted to know. He cleared his throat before he started. "I usually either end up walking around on my own, workout," He had to throw that one in, "or just rest and sit at my house." The keeper shrugged afterward because it wasn't much different then what normal people, muggle or not, would do.
He didn't wait for her to reply. He knew that she would be more curious then that so he added more about himself. "Before you ask another question, because I know you are, I was placed in Slytherian, I'm pure blood," That was a given if anyone was in Slytherian, but he hoped the fact did hurt the friendship. He continued, "I have played Quidditch since my third year at Hogwarts and my first name is Ryan." Percy added that last fact in because most only knew him as Percy, that was his middle name. He smiled at her and waited to see if she knew is really first name or not.
Was it true? Was it not true? Never the less, Eva at least admitted that she cared. He was let to his own mind. Percy's thoughts were all happy and fuzzy like, only was he brought back to reality by what she was saying next. He sat up slightly more straighter and a smile grew to his lips as he chuckled some. "And I will hopefully never give you a reason not to care." The man smile grew and hie pale blue eyes brightened.
Okay, so now she just mentioned that the like went both way? How much more could he take? Percy's eyes widened when she said it straight out. He flushed and whistled lowly as he moved his eyes to the window. The keeper flicked her gazed back to her. "Why shouldn't I?" He wore a smirk but that faded at her next comment. A camera? Carp. Percy froze, even if it wasn't a paparazzi person, it would still be hurtful if who ever it was got a picture. He didn't turn his head to see the person with the camera but he stated, "Lets hope it is a student. This is after all a place they come to a lot."
The famous keeper looked at her with surprise and confusion on his face. "Why wouldn't anyone else do that for you?" Percy raised an eyebrow at her, he couldn't understand why someone won't.
Percy was about to take another sip from his glass but he was stopped as he watched Eva take two quick ones. He couldn't help but grin and chuckle. "Slow down there. You just lucky that these don't get you drunk like normal beer would." He cleared his laughter so he could hear her words. He listened carefully picking up every letter. The man shrugged once she was done talking. "I don't know. things like your job, what you like to do, and your favorite color, maybe." He took a sip and then once he took his cup down he revealed a smirk. He had to add in that last part, it was just too hard not too.

Eva smiled at his response. So typical. Not to mention the workout comment, so boyish, normally used to make a girl squeal at his muscles. A small smirk appeared on her face as she replied. "If your waiting for the 'you must be so strong' squeal, your gonna be disappointed." She gave a small laugh. Eva didn't really care if a man worked out and was extraordinarily strong or anything like that. It just wasn't that big of a deal to her.
She listened as he continued on. So he was a Slytherin. She would have never guessed that one, he did not at all appear to have those qualities about him. Then again, he had grown up, once you left school those qualities may not describe you anymore. "But like...hobby wise. What do you do? You can't honestly tell me that your hobbies are quidditch, and nothing else." Her mind stopped then, and hit rewind. Wait a sec, first name was Ryan? Why did he go by percy then? Eva thought for a moment though, she knew a few people who went by their middle name, it wasn't all that uncommon. She smirked slightly "Okay Mr. Adams, any other secrets your hiding then? You know, maybe the fact that your a sky?" Eva tried to keep a serious face, trying to pull interigator on Percy, but it didn't work very well. "So, do you prefer Percy then...or is that just a code name so then you can go around as Ryan somewhere you may not be recognised?"
Eva nodded slowly at his next comment. She hoped that he wouldn't give her a reason to not care. She would still help him in need, but that was because she was a healer. But still, she didn't like not caring about people, and Percy seemed pretty special. Not to mention he had already seemed a little jealous about that waiter... "I kinda doubt you will... You don't exactly seem like the jerk type." She thought about that though. How had he made it into Slytherin during his school years? Was he just putting up an act to impress her?
Percy's expression seemed happy at what she had said at first. However, with her next comment his smirk faded. Eva gave Percy a faint smile, she wasn't too worried about the person getting a picture. She wasn't a gold digger, but she was rather curious as to the imaginations of some people. Eva's eyes turned back to the person with the camera and nodded. "They havn't turned their attention this way as of yet. Could probably duck out if your worried..." Eva half hoped that he wouldn't opt to leave the bar just yet, it would really seem too short if he did. However, she would understand, it may get rather unplesant again if he got mauled once more.
"Why wouldn't someone do that for me?" Eva repeated. well, she could think of many reasons. She didn't exactly get that close to men normally, and so did not really have the need for anyone to do that. Not to mention most people would just drool at her, and then when she left resume their normal lives. Or, of course, Eva would just walk away before it got to that point. "I guess I just don't really let people get close enough to me to ward any other guy off." She shrugged non chalently, hoping that that answer would be sufficiant enough for Percy.
Eva laughed at what Percy said about her drinking the butterbeer. She was thankful that this was a non alchoholic beverage, but then again, she didn't drink too much anyway. "Sorry. I seriously have not been here for ages. I forgot how good these things tasted." She took a smaller sip of the drink and blushed a little bit for some reason. she quirked one eyebrow at the man infront of her. Aww, how sweet, he wanted to know more about her. "Well, I think we already covered the fact that I'm a nurse. i work at Hogwarts actually...nurse in training." She smiled to herself at that, she loved that school so much. "I'm a nature lover, and a reader. I also tend to go off on my own for a random walk, its relaxing." She thought for a moment about what she would consider her favorite color though. "Honestly," She began "I really don't know what my favorite color is. I love blue, but then I love greens, and magenta.... So ya, a combination?" She laughed a little, having almost confused herself about her favorite color.

$.Percy rolled his eyes at the comment. He wasn't expecting a reply like that or anything of the sort. But that's what usually came from fans. He shook his head with a grin and chuckled. The man went with the joke. "It's okay, I was actually hoping for a 'Oh! Let me feel your muscles' response." He shrugged and laughed. Percy leaned forward and put his elbows on the table and mimicked her position with a smirk. He mostly did it to tighten his biceps.
He had to think for a second. The man did have hobbies but he didn't truly know them off the top of his head. "Okay, some of these are going to make me sound like a girl but," He smiled sheepishly and reddened at the cheeks, then continued, "Writing, collecting muggle cars, traveling, working with my hands and, umm, cooking." Percy kinda coughed the last one out. It was true though, the keeper liked to cook and was rather good at it. He had a big enough kitchen at his house to be used quite a bit. He had cast his gaze down then sighed and looked back at her, with a hint of a smile. Percy blinked at her words. He had to smile. In response the man threw his hands up and looked almost ashamed. "You caught me. I'm a spy. My plan was to gather intel about you then report back to my boss so that they could get rid of you." He put his hands back down and smirked.
He shrugged at her name comment. "I don't care which one I'm called. I just mainly go by Percy because that is what my dad use to call me. At that time I didn't really like it but after he died I decided to use it more." The keeper shifted his eyes from Eva's and looked at his hands. "Helps me remember him, I guess." Percy hadn't really told anyone else about that but his family, who frankly didn't care. It was refreshing to get it off his chest. It wasn't like it was one of those big secrets that couldn't be shared.
The man tried to stifle a snort at the jerk comment but he failed. His eyes widened and he shook his head some with a huff. "Should have seen me in school. Wait," Percy sized up Eva for a moment then continued, "you don't look that much younger then me so, you probably did see me in school." He was popular and in Slytherian, so, ya, he was a jerk at times but usually only to the underclassmen. Which, Eva would have been...... He immediately wanted to take it back. But it was too late, Percy just hoped that he was never mean to her in school.
"Duck out?" He repeated it with some surprise. did she really want him to left so suddenly? The famous keeper just shook his head. "No, no, just warn me if he starts to head our way, will ya?"
Percy looked at her as she talked. The first statement was just a repeat of his question, the second one didn't thrill him much. She didn't let others get that close? It kinda put him down and he expressed it with a low slightly depressive, "Oh..." He then realized that she was letting him close to her by allowing him to push off other guys. It changed his mind and now all he said was, "Oh." but this time it was happier and stretched out with the raise of his eyebrows. He wasn't about to add other comment. The man wasn't going to press her into answering something she didn't want to.
He nodded at her job and made a mental note that he would have to visit sometime soon. To her hobbies, the keeper just looked at her and had to agree, she looked like someone who read and loved nature walks. Percy snickered at the fact that she couldn't make up her mind on a favorite color. A group of colors was fine though. He took a sip of his butterbeer before his reply. "Mine is maroon. Yeah, I know it is a Gryffindor color and I was Slytherian but it is still my favorite." It wasn't as hard for him to name his favorite color as it was for her. Percy grinned and tipped the glass to his lips again.

Eva watched Percy's response to what she had said about the muscle comment. She grinned at his chuckle, melting a little inside at the sound of it. He really needed to stop doing that to her. But then, he also didn't really know that he was...so he couldn't exactly stop. And part of her also didn't want him tos top because it was making her happy, and the story goes on! She laughed at his comment though. That was another typical girl response to a man with muscles. "Sorry darlin', you aint getting that one either." Eva gave a small smirk, her eyes full of laughter. It was so easy to talk to this man, and so nice to joke about stuff like that. Eva didn't exactly realise that she had sorta missed out on so much in her life because she was afraid to let anyone too close.
How could hobbies make someone sound like a girl? Eva thought to herself. Unless it was sewing, that was kinda girlish. Then he began listing them off. Writing wasn't very girlish, cars definatly wasn't, until the last one. Cooking wasn't particularly girlish, but traditionally females were the onest hat did the cooking. Eva was not particularly that great of a cook, she could bake, but she did not like cooking too much. "Mmm, maybe i may just have to stalk you one night and sneak some dinner." A smirk crossed her face at the thought. It wouldn't really be that hard either, she just had to, ya know, stalk him to his house, wait around till he finished cooking, then summon it to herself. Peice of cake! Then Percy threw his hands up in the air, mocking being caught in the act. Eva couldn't help but laugh at this. "I knew it!" A devilish smirk crossed her face as she thought about another 'ploy' to his secretism "How do you know I'm not a spy sent to catch you? You know, lure you into my trap, then cast you off to sea or something...." Her eyes narrowed, but she broke out laughing again, not being able to keep a straight face about it.
Percy's next comment made Eva frown. She had no idea that he had lost his father, and thus using 'Percy' as his name was sorta a tribute. She was sorry for asking about it now. "I'm sorry," Was all she coudl really think of to say. what could she say? She hadn't exactly lost anyone. Her grandparent's dog had died when she was five, but that wasn't exactly overly traumatic like losing a parent. Eva wondered what it must be like to live witht hat every day, Percy was really too young for any of his parents to be dead, at least in her opinion. Ya, things happen, but still, it wasn't right.
Eva heard a snort, though softer than a flat out snort, and looked at Percy curiously for a few moments. She should have seen him at school? Could he just be putting up an act? No, seemed far too nice for that, then again, Slytherins were known to be cunning, this could just all be a trick. Eva narrowed her eyes a little bit once more. "Well, I'm twenty-two, I graduated Hogwarts like....five years ago." As soon as she finished speaking Eva's eyes widened a little more "holy crap that makes me feel so old." She laughed a little though, thinking about how Percy must feel. He was definatly older than she was, and not by much. Her mind wandered back to her school days for a few moments, trying to picture any slytherins that had given her a hard time. She had been around alot of older students, mostly her brother's friends, but she couldn't exactly picture any one Slytherin bugging her too much. She noticed that Percy seemed a little worried about something, then said "I don't think iw ould be a face that you would forget from school if you had seen me..." It was an honest response, but as soon as it came out Eva wished she hadn't said it, because now she needed to come up with some reason behind it.
A smile appeared on Eva's face once more after Percy had said that he wasn't going to leave her just yet. She nodded her head "I'll try to keep my eye on him, just ya know, keep your ears open for the shouting. That may come before I see the person." She would now definatly keep her eyes peeled, check in on the camera every few minutes. As much notice as possible would be good, maybe then they could both get out safetly.
The response to her statement abotu letting men get close to her was funny. It took percy a few moments to realise that he had defended her, which meant that he was sorta one of the few who were close to her. She laughed a little and shook her head with a smile. "Honestly Percy, my brother doesn't even pay too much attention to men who stare at me, and he and I are pretty close." She gave Percy a half smile with that, hoping he would understand just how big of an act what he did was for her. Yes, when she had dated people they had sorta defended her, but they also knew she was a veela when they did. Percy at this time did not, and he did it anyway, that was huge to her.
Eva licked her lips a little before taking another sip of the drink. She was enjoying it way to much for someone who had spent about half her life int he wizarding world. Aparently she had missed thigns like this more than she had previously thought. at Percy's choice of color she grinned. "Oh my gosh, you actually speak color! Most guys are like 'ya, i like red' They don't normally understand that there are names for the different shades." As soon as Eva realised that she was getting excited over something as simple as colors, she laughed at herself. She was very sad sometimes when it came to getting excited. Pathetic really.

$.He smirked at her reply and shrugged some. "It was worth a shot." The man leaned back in his chair again and grinned at her. He was falling into her smile, that was one thing that couldn't be helped. One thing that he wished he could do was just take a picture of the moment, both of them happy and laughing. He would love to remember moment s like these with her, Percy just didn't have a camera on him to do such a thing.
Was she really thinking about stalking him? The though almost made the keeper shiver but he held it in. It was odd to picture Eva tip-toeing behind him all the way to his house and then stealing his dinner. Nope that wouldn't do. Percy shook his head and chuckled lightly. "Stalking and sneaking dinner? No, but I would gladly make you dinner one night." As he repeated that in his head over an over again it sounded better each time. He started to smile at his thoughts when she spoke again. He stifled a laugh and looked at her in the eyes, pulling off a most serious face to show he could handle actually being a spy. "You are too sweet to be a spy." He paused that continued with a grand smirk. "Like the muggle candy Smarties. You are sweet, smart and addictive." Eva was easy to tease playfully and Percy couldn't hold his serious face much longer, so he let it out with a great laugh. His eyes brightened as he tried to settle his laughter. Once he finally did he added, "What kind of candy would I be to you?"
He picked his head up and blinked at her. She didn't have to be sorry and Percy did ask her to be, he wasn't asking for sympathy but it was better them nothing. "It's okay." He pushed a shrug and locked eyes with her and tossed up a thin smile. "Sorry for depressing the mood there." His grin brightened. The famous man was more surprised that she was willing to hear him out and not just brush it off as if it was nothing, because it was something to him.
Raising an eyebrow at her, Percy laughed. He didn't see how she could connect twenty-two to being old. "I'm twenty-five if it makes you feel any younger. Graduated eight years ago." The keeper clicked his tongue and winked at her. "Anyways you're not old, you're too pretty to be." He hoped she caught his straight out compliment. It was true, Eva was lovely and not just in her looks. The man smirked and listened to what she said next. That might have been true but he was never good at remembering things back in school, went along with trying to forget about his homework. Percy reached up and rubbed the back of his neck. "I didn't opt to remember much during school. So, if I did ever mess with you during those years, sorry." A tint formed at the top of his cheeks. "I have changed since then, believe me." He held up a hand in defense.
At her statement about the guy with the camera, the keeper smiled gratefully and spoke, "And if he does come over and get all to excited to see you with me, I know a back way out of this place so we could both escape scotch free." That was so true. Percy knew a back route out of here if it was needed. He knew of a lot of back doors, it was part of the whole 'be a celebrity' look. You would need a quick exit to anyplace where there could be paparazzi. He would rather have then get out together then just leave her alone somewhere and walk away.
The keeper melted inside at her words. He was closer to her then her brother. Eva was trying to kill from surprise and pleasure, Percy could tell. Without even thinking his sentence through the man smiled and replied quickly. "What would you say if I said that I wanted to hug you right now?" He really wanted to and was fighting the urge to jump up and squeeze her in his arms. But if he did squeeze her it wouldn't be too hard. That statement she just spoke filled him over the top with joy. He also didn't hug her that instant because it might attract some unwanted attention by cameras and spectators. So, Percy, as patiently as he could waited for her answer. He probably looked like a puppy, almost with begging eyes. But, he could up them off quite well, and usually get what he wanted. And the man really wanted that hug.
Percy was shocked by her over excited reaction to his favorite color. He was taking a another drink of his butterbeer but nearly did a spit take with it as she spoke loudly. Finally swallowing his sip, the man grinned. It was true though, most guys picked generic colors to like. However, he couldn't keep from chuckling at her outburst. He reached his hand forward and placed it on top of one of Eva's hands. They were soft and smaller under his, and warm too. Percy couldn't deny that he liked the feeling. It made him forget what he wanted to say so Percy had to improvise, "Calm down. Its just a color, not a sale on the latest shoes. No, need to yell with joy." He tried to quiet her but he couldn't help but laugh in between his words, which wasn't helping the situation. But again, the man wanted a picture of the moment. And a thought that he tried not to think of was that him and Eva probably looked like a couple to the other adults and students around them. Percy flushed a bit and scanned the other peoples' faces, hoping they weren't staring.

Eva beamed at Percy. It had been worth a shot, and she was quite sure that if she was a normal girl, it would have worked. Eva could appreciate someone who was in good shape, but it wasn't a huge deal in the least. "I guess you're right. It was worth a shot." A small smirk appeared on her face then though. "Too bad I'm not a normal girl huh?" That was a bit of an understatement, not that Percy knew just what she had meant by that. During her early years she was more suseptable to things like a well-muscled man, but now that she had become more selective about who she 'chased after' she had stopped being so girlish. Eva didn't want to lead someone on by that if she didn't want it to go anywhere.
A smirk crossed her face as Percy chuckled at her comment about stalking him. He totally did not think that she could do it. Eva didn't exactly thinkt hat she would herself, but thats not the point. What he had said though, brought a smile to her face once more. "I may have to take you up on that. I'm not exactly a huge cook myself, so I only eat well when I go visit the family." she thought about her grandmother's cooking for a moment, and sorta smiled dumbly at the thought. Her grandmother's cooking was awesome. The next set of comments that percy threw her way made her blush. She was too sweet, sweet like a smartie, and addictive. That last part shocked her a little, causing her to once again think about her genetics, but she once again pushed it to the side of her brain. She was enjoying herself far too much for that to get in the way. Then he asked ehr what candy that her himself would be to her. Eva managed to pull her eyes away from Percy's to look at the table to think. "I'm gonna hafta go with Cheezies." Eva said, raising her eyes once more to meet Percy's. "Crunchy cheezies to be exact. they have got to be one of my favorite snack foods of all time. My grandparents thought I was crazy for how many cheezies I ate in a week when I was living with them."
A small frown stayed planted on her face as Percy spoke. It wasn't exactly okay, he had lost someone important in his life. She didn't understand just how horrible it had been for him, but she did respect him for being strong about it. "No, its fine, I'm the one that asked." Her frown turned into a small hint of a smile at his grin though. aparently it really wasn't a huge deal to this man currently, maybe the wound had healed already. "Besides, I would have rather found out from asking something like that that going to meet the 'rents and making a fool of myself." Wow, that was an interesting thought that had just occured. They had only just met, and Eva had mentioned meeting the parents. That had to be a record for her. Maybe she was letting her guard down towards this man already.
A smile appeared fully once more at Percy's laughter. Apparently he had thought her comment funny, which, admittedly, it sort of was. So he was twenty-five huh? That wasn't too much older than herself at all. she thought back once again, trying to remember any of the faces of people who were three years older than herself, but failed. His comment about her being too pretty to be old caused another flush of red to appear on her face. She was really enjoying the compliment though, another full blown smile appearing on her face. "You are far too sweet, you know that?" Eva beamed at Percy. He really was too sweet, almost too sweet for his own good. The next comments that Percy said about school didn't exactly surprise her too much. Most people didn't remember too much from their school days, but she knew that she was not a face easily forgotten. "Don't worry, I'm pretty positive that you did not pick on me. Unless you were blindfolded or even confunded, which I don't remember being picked on by either really, so no need to apologize." She smiled at what he said next though, that he had changed since school. She didn't believe that Percy could really be as bad as he had said that he was, so she was thankful that they had probably never met during school. "If you hadn't have said anything, I wouldn't have known that you had been a jerk during school. You're far too sweet to be."
She nodded, grateful that he knew a back way out of this place. "Lets just hope it doesn't come to that though, hmm?" She truthfully did not want to have to run away, though it would definatly make for a great story to tell her friends later. But really, how annoying would that be? Eva reminded herself though that if she wanted to be friends with Percy she had to get used to the possibilty of cameras being shoved in her face. She would get used to it, because she did want to be friends with Percy, but it just may take awhile was all.
A laugh escaped her lips at his response. How cute was that? He was like a child in a candy store begging his mother for a treat. He couldn't just take it, but had to wait for permission to get what he wanted. "seriously Percy, you look like your about to fall out of your chair with excitement." She let that sit for a few moments, waiting to see if her would actually calm down a little. "I'm sorta a huggy person, honestly, so I probably would have given you a hug later anyways." she blushed slightly at the admittance. "My family is like that. We are a bunch of huggers."
The next thing that Eva knew, Percy's hand was on top of hers. Her heart skipped a beat at first, excitement filling her body at the simple touch. It was cleaning his face of the lipstick all over again, it just sorta felt normal to her. As if it wasn't a big deal. She smiled dumbly at Percy once more, and a laugh escaped her lips at his comment. sure, it wasn't a sale on the latest shoes, but it was still a huge deal. "Sorry, I'm just used to my brother. He just knows basic colors." She paused for a few seconds though, then gave percy a small smirk. "And really, if there was a sale on shoes do you think I would be here?" She let the comment sit in his brain for a few moments, then laughed. "I like shoes, don't get me wrong, but I'm not addicted to shoping for them like some girls are. I'm not very materialistic."

$.Ha. Well, Eva's comment was well put. But, Percy mostly agreed on the not normal part. Not that he didn't like it, no, in fact that was what drew him close to the girl. She wasn't acting the way his other dates would, or other girls would for that matter. The keeper rolled his eyes up to the ceiling then had them land on he face. "Who ever said I was attracted to normal?" He shifted an eyebrow up at her and chuckled with a grin.
A smile tugged at the man's lips. Was she actually willing to let him cook of her? He loved that idea and then a thought flashed. If she so soon was going to go over to his house then, hell, that would have to be a first for any of his dates. He would so need to clean up if they ever did make plans. What would he cook anyways? As Percy's thoughts still clouded his head he found himself replying. "I could teach you to cook, if ya want. It's not as hard as it looks." He paused. Sure, he could teach someone to cook, he had confidence in himself. Sitting straighter in his chair, he felt more at ease, until her next words reached his ears. He leaned forward toward the table in utter shock. Percy gawked with disbelief, how could he be like Cheezies, or what ever those things were. He didn't like were his playful conversation had took him. "Really? Cheezies? Really?" Those were the only words that came to him at the moment. The keeper still couldn't understand, and there was some laughter in his tone. "Why? Why, would I be Cheezies to you? I mean, I see myself more of like a taffy. Flexable, tough and brightly colored." The man leaned back and gave a definite nod. He wasn't going to stand for Cheezies. He then realized that the Cheezies were her favorite. He smirked and flushed, "But since they are you favorite, I can settle with being your favorite."
After another one of Percy's mildly mad rants he calmed himself. He smiled faintly at her words. But the last part, well he raised an eyebrow at her and scanned her over once again. Was this girl trying to get somewhere with him? Or trying to make him get somewhere with her? Blinking several times he sized her up again thinking, then the man shook his head, Whoa...not going to go there! Swallowing hard, and almost sweating from just having thoughts, Percy went to answer her. "No, I don't think you want to meet my mom and step-dad. And they could probably care-less meeting you." The keeper then noticed how bad his word choice was. "Not that they wouldn't like you, they would love you. It's just that they really don't care much for what I do, they think fame is all I know."
Percy wasn't blind so he caught the times she blushed, he tried to act like he didn't but it was nice knowing that she did. He cleared his throat at the sweet comment. "I hope that's not a bad thing." Which was true, he hoped it wasn't because there was probably more where that came from. Next the man sighed with relief and flicked his pale blue eyes up to Eva's eyes. "Okay, well, I'm trusting you that you aren't lying to me." He flashed a whole toothy signature smirk her way. He had to admit that he trusted her. That was a big step, well, maybe not with his life yet, but still trust. But when she mentioned sweet again, Percy rolled his eyes teasingly. "Can you drop that word already? It marks down my manliness every time you use it." He chuckled and the man held a sparkle in his eyes. Percy could stand the word, but it did make him sound
Nodding he spoke, "Agreed." The keeper didn't want their time to be cut short by having to run away. But then, they both had something to get use to if they wanted to hang out more. He would have to deal with other guys casting glances her way that were more then just friendly. And she would have to get use the the millions of camera flashes that came with being any where with Percy.
Blush went up his cheeks as she spoke. After her first words he shamefully sent his eyes down and shifted in his seat to ease the eagerness. But he let her finish talking before he spoke. Percy grinned at the family hugger comment. It was nice to know, and it was also nice to know that she would most likely give him a hug later. "I'll take that all as a no." She never really answered his question. but before she could add any words in he spoke once more with a small smile. "But, I'll happily wait till later to get one."
It took her awhile to comment and the fact that his hand was still on her's slipped Percy's mind. he just simply shrugged at her first sentence about the colors. A confused phased pasted over the keeper's expressions at first hearing the shoe sale reply. Suddenly it clicked in his head that it meant she would rather be somewhere more exciting then with him. Ouch, hearing that hurt worst then he thought it would. His eyes feel to his and her hand. Noticing that they still hadn't parted, Percy slide his hand off and placed it on his glass and lifted it to take a small sip. She explained herself and he placed the butterbeer back on the table. "I can leave if I'm that boring to you." This time he wasn't going to act like he was going to walk away like he did when they first met. He held a smirk to his lips, some part of him could tell she was kidding, be he wasn't sure.
