&.There wasn’t much to do. His classes he taught her over for the day, he only had three and all of them were full of first years, second years and what not. Though there was the occasional upper class man in the given periods. Syloh sighed out of nothing and rested his elbows up on his desk. He hung his head in his palms and the man rubbed his forehead. It was a major headache for the man. Paperwork wasn’t his best suit; the gamekeeper had the tests to grade. Lucky for him, he was a wizard, like everyone else here. He pulled him self out of his current position and slid his wand from his sleeve. Flicking it at a feather and mumbling a short word, the non-living object stood up and flew over to the stack of papers and began to grade them as if it was being controlled by a person. Syloh leaned back in his chair and pushed it back some to made room for his feet upon the rotted wood desk as he laced his finger together and cupped them around the back of his head. The man sat admiring the quill dipping it head into the ink and then mark through the tests. By the looks of the grades so far, which had only been three papers, the students were doing quite well. It pleased him to think that his teaching skills had done such a thing. Soon, the gamekeeper got bored. He kicked his posture back to a normal sitting position then moved to stand. Syloh paced over to the fire place and, with his wand still in hand, cast a fire in it. It was getting colder outside in the season now, with it nearing snow fall. So, why not start to get the hut warm now? He chucked to himself as he moved around to the various crates and wooden cages that held the domesticated pets that lived in the magical world. Most of which were just owls, rats, mice, cats. Oh, but the man did have one cat that just wandered freely around the small house. A lovely medium furred calico she-cat with a thin silky soft feather tail, otherwise know as Charlie. Odd, yes but he had gotten her as a kitten and named her after his sister, who he rarely ever saw now a days. Having been thinking about her, Syloh wondered where she was. The only thoughts in his head now? Crap I lost my cat! The gamekeeper began to file through all the small corners of his hut to find her, crashing into his bed, chair, and desk as he did so. Several boxes full of nothing were ruined in the processes of his search.

It had been a long day in classes, even though Alexandra had not been paying attention in any of them but her favorite one hosted by her favorite teacher and best friend Syloh. She was so hyper right now and her ADD was getting the best of her today so she was having the worst time sitting still. A few of the other girls in her classes had gotten her to go to the library, and she had thankfully finished her homework for potions for the first time in a month yet she was done and moving around annoying the librarian very quickly. Finally the other girls had given up getting her to stay in one place and finish the rest of her homework, so they let her go and Alexandra went running out of the castle ignoring everyone along her way. She knew exactly what she wanted to do, because of some strange events today she needed to go and ask a question to her dear friend Syloh.
She ran down the hills and steel edges of the school grounds, running out of breath when she was nearly there yet from all of her years practicing running she was able to figure out a good breathing pattern to get back up to speed. Although this didn’t help her in the end because as she came to a stop she very well nearly face planted the door. Luckily she was able to catch herself on the door, her hands outstretched in front of her a very heavy nock ran through the cabin as she panted softly and started to simply jump up and down again a brilliant smile on her lips as she waits for Syloh to answer the door. She wantedt o run in and start hammering questions at him right away.

&.The fire was still a blaze in its out cove and the charmed feathered pen was still scribing on the papers, and it asn't near half way yet. The gamekeeper himself was kept busy with the search for his cat, which was proving futile at the moment. He surged on his hunt for her never-the-less. Syloh even went as far as to crawl about on his hands and knees to get into smaller spaces. He was under his desk when the knock came and rang through his hut. The noise caused the man to jump and oainfully bang his head on the underside of his wooden desk.
After a forced sigh, Syloh stood up and took the few steps to the door, who ever was on the other side seemed to be excited because the bang on the door was pretty loud. carefully opening the heavy, but not so much to him, door the man made note of who it was. Alex, the Gryffindor seventh year who took it upon herself to become friends with the newly positioned gamekeeper. He smiled and slid the door more open. "Come in, Alex." After letting the ADD girl step in he quickly shut the door, so his cat, if still inside, would escape. Waving a hand at the couch he stated kindly, "Sit, please, get yourself comfortable." Then a hesitation on his part. Flicking his eyes to her then darting them around hie hut, Syloh quickly shook his head. "No, wait. Would you mind helping me look for my cat?" Since she was already here, th egamekeeper might as well use all the help he could get.

Alexandra looks up, still slightly jumping up and down but also slightly rubbing her nose as she looks at the man who opens up the door for her. She gives him one of her brilliant smiles as she hears him greet her, and she does the same in turn. She looks behind him, hearing something crash and sees that his cabin is a complete mess. She blinks in great surprise and then as she is invited in she does so. She tip toes around things her mind going a thousand miles an hour trying to think up what kind of creature he could be playing with this time to make this great big mess.
Once told to sit down she moves around trying to find a seat that was not in a messy state, and just as she found a crate that looked sturdy enough without any creatures hiding inside of it and was about to sit down she hears him say the inevitable,” Would you mind helping me look for my cat?" Alexandra looks over at him a blank look on her face for a few moment she gives a small giggle as she looks around his cabin. “Well, it looks like you pretty much looked in here!” She rubs the back of her head, thinking about it for a minute then snaps her fingers. “How about we look around the grounds! He is bound to have just gone off for a small walk!” She says, jumping up and down slightly, another idea all together going through her mind.
She walks up to him, jumping up and down in place again a huge smile on her face as she asks him. “Can I try practicing my animagus as well?! If I can get myself to change into my animagus then I could easily sniff you out!” She says, touching her nose as a second indication of the fact before she tried to stay in place and do her most adorable puppy dog face at him. She really wanted to, it would be so much fun.

&.When she entered, Syloh spun on his heels and face to inside of his hut. Mentally he winced at the mess and clutter that was left behind from his search; he was going to spend hours tidying everything up again. Hell! His couch wasn’t even visible.
His eyes still scanned the one room house and out of the corner of them he noticed that right when she was going to side down he had stopped her from such a comfort. Sighing to himself he focused on her words. Around the grounds? Charlie? Okay that had to be a joke, the cat never left the safety of the hut. Stifling a chuckled, Syloh shrugged, “Maybe, but I highly doubt that Charlie is anywhere but in here.” He moved over to the fireplace and bent over to snag a few boxes. “My cat is a she, Charlie is a girl.” The man had to make the correction for her, otherwise it would have bothered him. He staked the crates in an attempt to start a clean up.
At the student’s next statement he froze. Animgus. She was training to be one, well she had never told him that. He wanted to be one himself and had started training. After he finished with the crates, the gamekeeper stood straight and looked over at her. “I know I’m your favorite teach and you know you are one of my best students but Alex,” he offered a smile grin to hid his sigh, then he continued, “you can’t just go running around as…whatever your from is, it could scare some people, I’m sure mine would…” The man’s form was a snow leopard, not doubt that it would freak out a few of the younger students. He wasn’t even fully trained and Syloh was certain that she wasn’t either. “Plus there is always the risk of failing at the transformation.” It has happened before and it was more common in students then adults. He was concerned, that’s all.
