Lycoris watched the exchange between the two 'friends' with a small smile on her face. How could Dani have not just jumped right up and claimed Caius as her own? He was good looking after all. Or was Dani just to blind to see his looks, maybe blinded by the 'best friend' card? Either way, Cori didn't care, that was Dani's loss at this point. Cori wasn't blind, nor dumb. Caius was cute, well, more like quite attractive, and so far, she was really enjoying his company. She wasn't exactly going to just pounce on him though, she would give it some time. After all, maybe he really was just friend material? Ha! As if.
Cori's mind was piqued though, as Caius trailed off about their first meeting. What had happened between the two? Had someone saved someone else? Lycoris was natually quite curious, and she opened her mouth to speak when the 'good' side of her brain kicked in, and she asked herself if it really was any of her business. Of course though, curiosity killed the cat, as the saying goes, and it got the better of Lycoris. "What happened? Fall out of a tree and land on Dani?" She asked, a joking tone more than questioning. She was curious, but she wasn't going to push the matter too far if it put someone on edge. Cori's eyes flicked to Dani for a moment, and saw that she was gripping her glass of butterbeer. Dani was not able to keep Lycoris's attention away from Caius for long though, guess something about knowing Dani for much longer than Caius could do that to someone.
Then again, maybe it was the fact that Caius had spoken to her once more. Her face lit up a little as he asked if she would join him and Dani. Her smile, already quite large, grew some. She knew that it must have just been the nicities, because Lycoris wouldn't have said no anyways, nor to him, or them, joining herself on her random wanderings around town. She was about to open her mouith to speak once more, when Caius gave a puppy-dog look to Dani. How adorable was that? Her eyes trailed over to Dani for a few moments, taking in her reaction to the look. Obviously it did not have too much affect on her though, maybe he had used it alot on her already. Cori didn't mind, it was still adorable.
Then Dani replied to what Caius had said. An agreement, of sorts at least. Lycoris may have been wrong, but she could have sworn that there was some emphasis on the word 'three' like maybe it was not fully desired. A small shrug, hardly visible, and Lycoris smiled again. Dani had her chance to object, now she would just have to deal with Cori's presance until Cori got bored, or it was ti me to go back to the castle, or asked to leave really. The smile was quite visible on her face though as she turned her attention back to Caius. "I would love to join you guys." It was a little hard to hold back the excitement from her voice. Spending time with Caius, after just meeting him, was like being a kid in a candy store. How could you say no to something like that? "And don't worry about the wallet diet thing. I'm sure that while I am allowed to claim relation to my family I can help out a bit." She didn't want to exactly make Dani feel bad, but she also did not want Caius to think that he had to support two girls on this adventure.
