let me know what plagues your mind christina marie wood - 29 - hogwarts transfiguration professor - friendly - procrastinator First and foremost, Christina is a very friendly person, and friends are easy for her to make no matter where she goes. She's an upbeat person and believes the glass of life is always half-full and almost never half-empty. Things will always end up coming out right, and this cheerful attitude towards things is a good way to help her make friends. Also, being an Animagus has singled her out as an oddity, as she doesn't hide the fact that she can turn into a Peregrine falcon at will. She never uses this to show off, although yes, she does use it to travel around rather quickly if Apparition is impossible. So she's both an oddity and a fixture at Hogwarts, and most of the students will probably like her, if for the fact that she's relatively light on written homework.
Enemies, on the other hand, are far and in between. Get on her bad side, though, and you're there for life. Christina can't stand impatience and people who are intentionally stupid to draw attention to themselves. She knows that some people lack brain cells, but at least try hard, and Christina won't be walking over giving you a very stern glare.
Lovers. Well now, that's a touchy subject. Christina is obviously looking for someone her age - no affairs with students, thank you very much. She wants someone who can stand her free spirit and who is willing to have fun with her too. She's actually looking for a serious relationship as well - she wants to find at the very least a permanent lover before the clock starts running out.
Then there are the neutral people who don't fall into any other of the catagories. These are mostly students, although throughout her few years at Hogwarts she has met a few students she has well and truly liked. They may not be the smartest ones, but they're certainly some of the more helpful. Christina will probably place most people at first into this others catagory until she warms up - or does the exact opposite - to them.
I'm looking for any types of threads right now. Enemies, friends, or possible lovers. Or other, really. All are appreciated.
let me be the one to know you best be the one to hold you up, when you feel like you're sinking

Well, for starters I have Syloh, he is 30 and the new gamekeeper at Hogwarts, who is training himself to be a animagus. He is just trying to learn something, and since he loves animals and all, his logic is......'Hell why not be able to change into one??' Lol, anyways, these two I can see being friends, anything beyond that is up to you. But, yes at least friends. --- Next would be Percy, my famous quidditch player. He is 25 and is currently in the process of getting a girlfriend (YAY! huge plot behind that...) Anyways, he is 4 years younger then her so, i don't know what to classify him under.....he would probab;t fit best with in other and what not... --- Lastly is my school girl Dani, a seventh year Ravenclaw. Since under the house of the Ravenclaw, she is smart but also a rebel, in some ways. She would probablt have one of Christina's advanced classes, and one of Dani's better classes, or at least it comes easy to her is Transfigurations...but who knows.... --- That's all I got....i'm kinda dead at the moment so just get back to me, thanks... XP

Syloh and Christina
Ooh, yes. Christina loves birds and flight, so she'd be perfectly happy to meet someone who shares a love for animals. And if he's in training to be an Animagus... well, things would have to get interesting, wouldn't they? Complicated at least. But Christina likes everyone at first, so a gamekeeper will be a good start.
Percy and Christina
I'm brain-dead on this one. They could meet. Awkwardness would ensue. That's about it. XD
Dani and Christina
Christina's biased and likes most of her good students. She would also understand the whole "rebel" thing - she was like that too - smart and a free spirit, as mentioned. Considering that Dani's good at Transfiguration, that could only mean awesome things would occur between these two.

Can I just open with: FIREFLY-EEEE!!! That is all.
CHRISTINA&&LANCE::
These guys would get on famously I think - both are easy going and get along with most people so it's a no brainer that they'd be friends really. Both in their late 20's too (they'll have to gang up on Eva and tell her that that's not old!). Being the Flying Professor and an ex-Quidditch player Lance is pretty at home in the sky, which ties in nicely with Christina too. The both having dogs thing is another bonding point as well. She could be showing him the ropes a little as a teacher or something (like he's friends with Eva who's just started but she's not a professor so it's a bit different), giving him pointers that she would have found useful to know when she started?
He'd probably be up for more than just friends too, though he's not the best at serious relationships (but, to be fair to him, this was mostly the media's fault in driving women away or pushing him to get rid of them or just forcing them apart with the pressures) and hasn't really had anything proper in the past year and a half due to a lovely crisis of drinking, etc. But y'know, whatever. =)
CHRISTINA&QUINN::
Well here we have Quinn - 6th year Slytherin, bit of a jackass really, not too fond of classes or teachers or the like. Well Transfiguration would be one of the classes that Quinn would continue on until the end of his school days so I assume that they know each other through that. He's quite good at transfiguration and is probably one of the subjects that he enjoys most so I don't see him acting out in any crazy manner. Maybe he's one of those kids that can get away with quite a lot, relatively, in class because Christina knows that, even though it might not look like it at any particular point, he does do the work that he's assigned to do? He's probably just another "other" though - can't think of anything much special here.

Christina&&Eva I'm thinking childhood. Perhaps Christina's mother and Eva's dad had a relationship when they were younger, and ended up just as friends afterwards. Then when the two grew up and had kids and stuff they continued to be friends, so like, cause of the 7 year age difference, maybe some summers when christina went back home for the holidays Christina would watch Eva and her brother for a short time when their parents went out or something like that?
Chrstina&&my students I got nothing. Lycoris is a 6th year Ravenclaw, and she's smart, so while she does well in Transfigurations (a little above the average student) it is not particularly her best subject (that would be charms) nor her worst subject. Then there is Tristian who is my 7th year Hufflepuff. He also does fairly well in his classes, but again, Transfiguration is not his best. So I really don't know how they would intereact other than the fact that they are students...

Christina and Lance
Holy crap - yes! These two must meet and become friends, simply for the fact that Christina and Lance are so alike. Allies is definitely in the future. However, lovers... actually could be a viable possibility. If you want to go that far. Besides, Christina likes to defy stereotypes. That's just her thing.
Christina and Quinn
Quinn would probably be placed in the 'other' area of things. Students are usually placed there automatically, and although Christina would pay a small bit of extra attention to him, he'd still just be another student in a school of students.
Christina and Eva
I agree with the childhood idea. It would be a good way to get Lance, Christina, and Eva all together at once, which would be a fun thread. The babysitting idea would create a definite relationship and therefore future threads are in order. I approve of this.
Christina and various students
Kind of brain-dead here too. Students are taught lesson by teacher. The end. That would be the extent of most threads.

Christina&&Eva yay! Maybe Eva could be the one to introduce Lance to Christina? (and then Eva can stick her tongue out at Lance and such) And then also Christina can be epic and give Eva some advice as well during the plot with Percy....be the voice of a girl while Lance is the voice of the man sorta thing.....lol, kinda lost myself there, but ya. Basicly the Percy/Eva thing is that they like each other, Eva hasn't yet told him she is a veela, Percy is gonna admit to like her, Eva is gonna get scared and go off and hang out with Lance bunches while percy is off doing his own thing, then Eva is gonna realize that she was dumb and tell Percy the full truth....thats the short form, lol. So during the "break" especially christina can be telling Eva to suck it up and admit to herself how she feels....ya... thoughts?

CHRISTINA&&LANCE::
Awesome stuffs. We can start them off becoming close friends and see where we go from there; though I do play Lance very flirty so if ever the moment takes you he's ready to go along with it - he likes female company and since your character is good looking and has a good personality too I can't see a reason for him to object.
I like the Eva introduction thing too. I guess maybe Lance would be too shy/awkward to go up and talk to Christina or something (though he finds it easy enough if people talk to him first, he can't really approach people he doesn't know like that since it's not something he's used to doing)..?
CHRISTINA&&QUINN::
Well Lance was my main objective with Christina anyways, not too fussed about Quinn - he has all his schoolyard chums already =P
