$.He chuckled as he replied to her comment. “So far I’m up to 30 blessings.” Pausing, Percy smirked and added, “Yes, well, hopefully this time doesn’t end like that…” The man trailed off not needing to explain what happened because they had both been there. But all the time spend together, besides those last few moments, were very enjoyable. Eva was defiantly the type of girl that he was going to spend more time with. Percy felt normal around her, which was something that he hasn’t felt in a long time. Noticing her expression, the keeper cleared his throat and offered a small shrug. “If you were ever into muggle video games you might understand it.” He flushed a twinge of pink after that said, realizing how geeky and boyish that sounded. Laughing inwardly, Percy smiled at her. Boys and their video games.
There was a silence and the man wasn’t sure if his words were collected right. When she stuck her tongue out at him, Percy just laughed at the image. She could act childish at times. Softening his laughter, he listened to what she was saying. “I may consider those things or I may not.” He shrugged. “Depends on what you get mad about and what you are wearing” The keeper grinned, but slightly hoped that she may not have heard that last part. Percy focused his mind on her next statement. Fiery, huh? He was liking her angry and bad side more each passing minute. But he knew that she was probably right about it, and that it could test him. His inside thoughts defeated his wall and a small admittance slipped out, but the keeper didn’t regret it. “Okay, fine, maybe you, and only you, could manage to cut my manhood. But only a small cut.”
Percy nodded and smiled down at her. About to add a minor playful comment, he was stopped by her next words. He hesitated. She was probably right, he was going to get hurt and break his promise. Shaking his head, the keeper chuckled some with a hidden smirk. “Would you stop crushing my words?” He flicked his eyes back to hers and exhaled a short huff of air. “I’m trying to show you that I care about how you feel, but you make me sound stupid for making such a promise.” With both hands back at his side, Percy shrugged slightly and smiled small. Keeping his gaze on hers, the man chuckled some. “If you keep doing that then maybe I just shouldn’t care.” He was joking of course, but he modified his tones to sound serious. His pale blue eyes however showed amusement and the playful meaning. As he thought back over his own words, the keeper noted that it would be hard not to care.
He could help but laugh at her first statement. He knew what Eva had meant but it was a pretty funny question. If he were to answer it he would say everyday but Percy would let her catch herself and fix it. Once she did rephrase her question he answered. “Well, I would have to say at least one friendly girl every month.” Pausing to watch her expression a second, Percy then continued, “Now, how often do I meet a friendly girl who isn’t a model or a friend of a friend? I would have to say, about a week ago was the first one.” The last part was nonchalant because he wanted to see if she was actually listening and if she would pick up that she was the one he was referring to. If that statement was really true, he didn’t know, but it sounded about right.
Just like Eva had before, Percy nodded, proud like a little child who just tied their shoes, at her statement. He kept a smile on his features as he watched her go off on her story about flying. He didn’t care if it was kind of long, he enjoyed just listening to her voice and the way she spoke. Once it came to an end, the keeper chuckled. “Me being the ‘some others’ right?” His eyes light up as she joked about studying. He wanted her to study and get more advanced at her work so he was kind of confused and shocked at the first part of her statements. As Eva kept talking he chuckled more, she was joking, that was good. Putting his hands up as if to surrender Percy spoke, “I don’t doubt that you will.” That was true, she seemed to have some knowledge of her work, otherwise she wouldn’t be here. And if she brushed up on some books of hers she might just learn something that might save him if he was ever truly hurt.
Percy couldn’t help put grin while she spoke. Behind her words, the man wasn’t sure if she was admitting that he was attractive. If she wasn’t attracted to him then why was she making a big deal about it? He decided to voice his thoughts. “If I didn’t know any better then I think you just said you are attracted to me.” He shrugged and smirked to himself. All he did to her next statement was nod. She did have the better half after all. Percy was quite surprised at her question. With his response the man shrugged. “Excuse me? Um, uh, I don’t know, maybe drooling over some very hot girl that isn’t your date.” Before she could speak a word to his answer, the keeper added, “But like I said, I don’t do that.”
“You better remember. If not, that I will have to keep reminding you.” A smile crept to his expression and a chuckle along with it. Percy could just picture himself do a thing like that. Once he was lying on the bed, he was relieved to hear it was just bruised some. But when Eva glided her fingers over his bare skin, it caused him to freeze and a chill ran over his spine. The touch wasn’t bad, it just surprised him. After she performed her spell, the keeper rolled over onto his back and twisted his waist to stretch his back. “Much better, thanks.” Grinning, Percy pushed himself up with his elbows and relaxed like that. Chuckling, he noticed watched her gaze and comment about it. “Liking what you see Eva?”
Ryan Percy Adams <<...well that didn't work out as planned....i meant for this to be a shorted post but it isn't...oh and that 'damage' joke is something my friend make up...if you have ever played a computer game or video game and you are a character that has to fight things usually you have a number that is how much damage you can cause to another person or monster....that's what it means...sorry if it is still confusing.>>

Eva beamed. Percy wasn't doing too bad then, if he had 30 blessings to his name. "So, if your at 30, then what am I at?" Eva's smile turned into a small smirk. She wondered if he would say higher or lower for her, or the same. Though, Eva thought for herself that her count was higher, because she had met Percy in the first place, which probably counted for 10 on its own. Her smirk turned back into a smile at that thought. "I don't think we have a worry of that. Unless someone followed you here...?" She shook her head though, highly doubting that anyone had followed the man to the school, especially without being noticed. Then the realization of what percy had meant hit. "Oh! Hit points, how much damage done, got it." She grinned sheepishly, silently cursing herself for not putting that fact together earlier. "can't really say we were into video games too much as kids. I normally wanted to be outside, you know, be one with nature sort of thing." Eva realized then just how little Percy realy knew about her, and in turn how little she really knew about him, minus the basics at least.
Eva raised her eyebrows at Percy's statement. The last part caughther off guard especially, and she realized that she should have kept her guard up a little better. It was so easy to forget the little details aroudn Percy, and she had just let go. However, Eva did not want to give away her concerns, she would tell him, eventually, but she wanted to keep the mood light, as it had been. Get to know him a little better before she gave away her biggest secret. "Well then, if I got mad wearing what I'm wearing which category would it fall under then?" She asked, eyebrows still raised, a small smirk appearing back on her face. Percy's last statement though, brought the smile back to her face. He had shown a bit of weakness in that statement, which kinda ended up negating his earlier statement a little bit, but not fully. She laughed a little as well. "Only a little bit?" Eva grinned though "Good, would hate to cut you down too much. Wouldn't want you to become a wimp or anything like that."
""I'm sorry, I just didn't want you making a promise that you may not be able to keep. If I could have it any way I would let you make that promise." Eva managed to pull her eyes away from his at that moment, and she looked down at the ground. "I just didn't want you to break a promise..." Eva gave a soft smile, keeping her eyes focussed on the ground for the time being, just until she had her brain in check once more. The words that Percy had said, that maybe he shouldn't care, hurt a little more than she would have expected them to. She didn't want to show this to Percy though, because then it would probably be even harder to get her emotions in check, because Percy probably would have gone on to say 'I'm sorry' and all that stuff that wasn't required. Eva was just being honest. "I'll let you promise that you will try to never scare me like that again, you know, anything that can be helped sort of thing." Her smile returned a little with that statement, hoping that he would accept it.
Her eyes widened, and a frown crossed her face as Percy mentioned that he met a friendly girl at least once a month. Her feeling of specialness decreased with that statement, feeling like she was just another girl for the few moments that he had paused. When Percy continued though, and said that about a week ago was the first one, the smile returned. Before he had paused, she felt like just another girl on the path of his life. However, with the continuation of the sentance, she felt special again. She laughed a little and shook her head, a smile on her face. "You know, I actually considered being a model when I was younger. Now I'm quite glad that I didn't." The statement was true. Eva had considered being a model for a living. She could do it, not to mention all the boys would have dropped at her feet, but that was why she didn't. Eva really didn't want to have that happen to her, it was bad enough walking down the streets on a daily basis. But to be the center of attention? No, she did not want that.
She laughed at his statement. How quickly he had caught on. Then again, she now knew another person who got to fly around for a living, and still sort of does. "Well, ya." she grinned, listening to the sound of his laugh. Percy went on to 'surrender' to Eva's statement about her need to study up on spells that could save him. She grinned "I just kinda hope that I don't have to actually put any of the spells into practice. Its one thing on a student, but its a completely different matter on someone close to you." Her eyes went to the floor once again for a brief moment, thinking about what would happen if Percy had actually gotten hurt. Would she be able to keep her head on straight enough to help him? Only way to find out was if he actually did get hurt, which Eva really hoped never happened.
The red tinge returned to her cheeks at what Percy had said. That was a flat out question, nothing hinted or anything. It was just there. How could she answer that? Sure, he was good looking, and he was nice, and her body sure wanted to betray her thoughts, but she did not exactly want to flat out say what she was thinking. Too many complications could come up because of her little secret. But again, if she said it now what would Percy think? That she was just playing around with his feelings? Eva sighed inwardly at herself. Why could she not just say 'yes' and be done with it? Or, why couldn't he have just hinted at it instead of just coming right out and say it? She decided to go back kto the light mood that they had only moments before. "Maybe just a little bit" She said, inticating with her fingers as Percy had done before. She paused at what she was going to say afterwards, thinking that Percy may take it the wrong way, which she didn't want. She listened to what he said next, about what a guy moment would be. She nodded at his answer, was a very good one, and then smiled as he quickly added the end part. "Well, I'm glad that you don't. Cause that would drive me insane." Eva didn't mention that she didn't have any fears about looking away at some other girl, especially around her. If he clued in to the waiter incident, and then if they went out somewhere what ever other guys did the same, then he would understand.
Eva grinned. "I hope so, but I'll try not to forget." She then watched as the darkening skin returned to its normal hue, a satisfied smile on her face. She watched as percy streched his back, to test out how it felt not. She laughed at his last statement. "Again with the clinical insanity. I'm a chick, do the math."
((lol, I tried for short...ya, does not work. Maybe next thread we should put a like...3 paragraph limit and see how that goes....thought that might drive me insane))

$.“Beats me. For all I now, you could be at 100.” He winked at her and chuckled. Truthfully, she probably was at a higher number then him. At her next comment he turned his head to the doorway and just stared for a moment. He kept his steel blue gaze on the empty door. “Nope, I think we are all clear.” Percy shifted and faced Eva once again and with a grin continued, “Besides, if someone did follow me, we would probably already know they were here. A don’t have any stalkers as of current, so all's good.” Actually, even if that was true, the keeper did have a stalker but that was awhile ago. The man smiled brightly with a laugh as she finally got his joke. He reached his hand up and padded her head lightly, “Good girl.” Moving his hand from her golden locks, Percy listened to her explain. He was usually an outdoors man himself, he played Quidditch that was played outside for crying out loud. “Well, me too but for the summer after me second year here, my dad took me to spend the whole break in the muggle world. It was pretty fun, played video games most days.” The keeper chuckled at the memory.
At her question he eyes directly went to scanning her over. Well, what she was wearing wasn’t bad, but it still wasn’t the greatest thing in his mind. He cupped an elbow in one hand and with the other he rested his chin on. Percy wanted her to act all serious and professional like, it was fun to playfully judge. Lifting his chin from his palm, the keeper drew a circle in the air with his finger. “I’m going to need you to turn slowly for me, doll.” A victorious smile crept to his features as he waited for her to move. Percy raised a quizzically eyebrow at her last statement. “Wimp? Me? Never.” Shaking his head, he paused and smirked. “The only way you could get ‘wimp’ and my name in one sentence together is if the word ‘not’ is between them.” The man nodded defiantly at his statement with a small smile.
Percy watched her and when she tore her eyes from his and directed them toward that ground, he managed a small frown. He was glad she wasn’t looking at him to notice. When her next words came the keeper smiled some and reached out to place a few fingers under her chin. He tilted her head up so her eyes met his once more. “I’m glad you don’t want me to. Truly I am.” Letting his hand fall from their position on her chin, he let Eva speak once more. She wanted to make him a deal. How cute? But actually he agreed to it. He nodded, grinned and put his hand out to shake, “You got yourself a deal, and I’ll add to it. I will keep caring if you do.”
He had seen her expression fade to a frown and then back to a smile. Had to love her smile. “You are good-looking enough to me a model, I’m surprised you didn’t follow through with it.” Percy considered her as a model for a moment. Back in his head, what could he possibly imagine her wearing this time? Sighing happily for a second, he added, “But I’m glad you didn’t, otherwise all of this,” The man motioned back and forth from himself and her and continued, “wouldn’t be happening right now.” Which was most likely true, when ever he met models it was usually just for a day then they would have to run off to a fashion show and what not. So, Percy would never have seen Eva again if she had followed being a model. He smirked at her small comment, he did quite like flying. Made him feel above everyone and it gave him a sense of freedom. “I agree, when ever it is people you care about, things usually are harder.” He had felt that way when his father died, having one less parent and family member.
At her answer, Percy released a breath that he didn’t know he was holding. Pondering her reply, the keeper nodded his head side to side as he flicked his eyes to the distance. “I guess I can deal with that, for now.” Returning his eyes to her face, he grinned and let a chuckle slip through his lips. But he really meant that ‘for now’ part. He didn’t want her to always be ‘maybe’ ‘a little bit’ attracted to him. He didn’t dare tell her that though. At her next statements, Percy just smiled. The man was happy that she thought his answer to be good enough; it was only questionable to him.
“Good.” Chuckling, he got a little more comfortable while she spoke. Her response made him flat out laugh. But it was true, girls look at hot guys; guys look at hot girls. There easy math done. “Well, I’m a dude and you don’t see me staring at your chest do you?” The thing that shocked Percy was the fact that he hadn’t done that to her yet. Made him wonder, but just as he curiosity was pecked the keeper shook his head to clear out all thoughts.
