Ahh, the dungeons. Cold, dark, away from most people in the school. The seventh year Hufflepuff boy often spent his days down there, when not causing some form of havok within the school at least. However, Tristian hardly ever had to worry about being blamed for the havok he caused. Why, just two days ago he had caused several plates to explode on the Ravenclaw table and no one so much as gave him a second glance. Sure, this was a rather lame prank, even by his standards, but boredom could do that to a person.
The reason though, why no one would ever look at him for any crimes, unless he was actually caught red handed at least, was because he had cleverly convinced all the teachers that he was an ideal student. Sure, he had made his ventures into the Forbidden Forest and gotten caught for this, but then what student hadn't? In his six years of school Tristian had probably only had detention three times, twice for going into the forest, and once for punching another student for making fun of his family, while the charms professor was right there. Not the brightest thing that had ever happened, but it did either way.
Most of the time, Tristian didn't have to worry about dealing with other people though. He tended to keep to himself for the most part. Sure, Tris had a few select friends that he would spend time with, but generally speaking, the boy would be off in his own little world, dreaming about Death Eaters and what life would be like if and when he ever became one. Tris did have an advantage if he did though, he had so many people convinced he was a 'good boy' that he could probably get away with almost anything. In his mind, that made Tris the perfect candidate for a spy position too, which would be quite fun.
Of course, Tristian wasn't all bad. He had is good moments. He was fairly bright, hence his clever ploy with the professors, and he tended to avoid homework until it needed to be done. He even read some books just for the sake of reading. However, neither of those two options was happening today. Rather than reading, or just day dreaming even, Tris was playing with some charms that he had read up on. Nothing too complex or scary, just a simple 'avis' charm, and playing with the birds that it had summoned.
